It's early Winter in Portland, OR.  That has meant... rain.  We had so much in November that it was flooding all around, but since we live on a hillside there's no real problem.  Now, however, it's turned cold and we've been dealing with snow and (soon) freezing rain..

Zoe's now in third grade and is having a great time playing soccer (the rain seemed to avoid most of the game days) and going to school with her friends.

Linda's been very busy at work following a summer devoted to marathons, extreme sport challenges and a one-day, 42-mile hike around Mount Hood.

Jack's also been busy with a new assignment at work, and just returned from a week in Tokyo (preceded by trips to Dallas and Rochester) and followed by a trip to Pittsburgh.  On the road again...

All in all, that means that things are pretty normal.  Welcome to our world via the web.
